Great Sound

A wedding anniversary gift from my wife. Wonderful sound as expected from Roberts Radio. A very elegant and stylish turntable.

Great Sound , wood veneer finish naff

From a name like Roberts you expect the best. The sound and feel are great, a slight timbre background from the stock cartridge on older vinyl but spot on on on new. My biggest disappointment is the wood veneer finish, for me it dosent look robust enough and I reckon if you are unlucky it will lift on the corners in a few years especially in homes with good heating! This will no way distract from the sound but if you keep your equipment for many years something to consider, best to judge for yourself and don't buy if you feel this would be an issue.
