Unreliable as multi room.system

Great sound quality and fine used as a stand alone unit but forget using it as part of a multi-room system, too unreliable,. Forever resetting speakers and router. My house is not large and has a strong WiFi system everywhere. I just find it frustrating that system with huge potential is basically rubbish . Going to save up and swap it for a Sonos.

An excellent item except for one fault the sound continually drops out after changing channels otherwise I have no complaints I was wondering if this was an ongoing problem and if there was a quick fix available for some reason my attempts to contact Roberts have failed

Large box but great sound

Have only made limited use of it so far but it more than meets my music and radio requirements. It’s larger than expected, so make sure you check measurements. I have it in a large room and it certainly has enough power. Very easy to use with UNDOK app. Only drawback so far : size and connection with TV

a very good piece of equipment

A very good piece of equipment. It is solidly built and looks better than most soundbars. The sound it produces is very good, which is the principal point, but it is also very versatile: excellent DAB and FM radio (even from internal aerial), Bluetooth, Spotify, etc. The range of connection possibilities is also very good. Lastly, it was very easy to set up. Strongly recommended.

Audio reality with the SB1

I bought the SB1 to link to my TV so allowing much improved audio compared with the normal TV speakers. I have made the connection via the optical link and the difference is astonishing, giving audio and voice with reality. Additionally the DAB and fm radio channels give great sound with the internal aerial - I have not needed an external one. Podcasts are easy to source and list as are the internet radio channels. Spotify is a bonus in addition to the usual Bluetooth link for playing music. The sub-woofers provide great sound reproduction when playing music and are easily turned down/out for speech if preferred. Connection of the SB1 to my hub was straightforward and I was up and running in a short time, with the SB1 sitting about 15'' below my TV in the lounge. A great addition to the sound in the room.

A superb buy

Bought the SB1 through an offer direct from Roberts. I've since seen it for £99.00 on Amazon. However, I cannot fault this unit, even though I have paid a bit more. The sound, connectivity and build quality are excellent with amazing bass. It's not an audiophile 'system' of separates, but for a portable unit, the sound quality is outstanding.

High Quality CLEAR sound

i've got this sound bar, ordered it on ebay from crampton and moore store, price was 139.99 but there was 15% discount on ebay, so it dropped to around £120. Ive been looking for a GOOD micro system for my BEDROOM, but i didn't want all the wires and 3 separate units. I also wanted DAB and of course bluetooth. I wasn't fussed about CD player etc and of course good quality sound with an equaliser. I was very sceptical about this, i've had my eyes on this for a few weeks and did my research. i couldn't think of anything other than this product that would meet my requirements but also not that expensive like SONOS. Anyway, ive took this for a bit of a test drive, (Not massive as im working nights, so by the time i get home its 8am and i cant blast the music) however first impressions, im astonished and impressed with the clarity! There are only 4 speakers, but if you equalise properly you can get a good range of high lows and mids. The clarity is on par with my JBL soundbar that i have, which is second to none (ive tested several others at richer sounds). Anyway, im glad i bought. I couldn't use this for my living room as it is not the best-looking soundbar, its more of a kitchen/bedroom hallway. However, if you're living room is wooden then this would compliment it. The volume produced is good enough to fill a large room. DAB works really well. There is a bit of faffing around with the UNDOK app. But it doesn't take long to figure out. PS The Equaliser is adjustable and this is well above par.

Great Product

This sound-bar does all I want it to do. Firstly it greatly improves the sound of TV programs, then it goes on to provide FM, DAB and Internet radio. It also enables me to play downloaded programs and iTunes etc., from my iPhone and iPad via Bluetooth. I have to use an external aerial for FM & DAB, but that was already in place for my previous receiver, therefore just a change of one aerial connector. I haven't connected an external sub-woofer yet, but I'm not sure it needs it. It was fairly easy to set up with the remote control together with the UNDOK app on my phone ( I only had to do a 'factory reset' once!) If it has a problem, it is its size, height and width, but that presumably helps with the sound produced. I will have to hang the TV on the wall, and I'll probably have to buy a slightly larger TV, than my current 39 inch, before I do that!

Needs work

Bought 1 for the main room, thought I’d had everything i needed and wanted from a speaker FM spotify internet radio has it all, Would say you’d need to install in big room or you’d be tweaking for a good while to suit a small room very vas’s heavy, personslly EQ was a let down 3 band in today’s world not good enough, Another annoying thing is after setting your input optical or whatever it should in my opinion default to the clock as a screen saver, Still messing around with it so sorry if you can set that up, Please in future updates add more bands to the eq or a graphic eq

SB1 Fantastic

Roberts isn't messing about here. It is tremendous, achieving not just a wall-shaking volume but also top quality sound. To top if off, the integrated features are a massive plus!

Does it all

Great product and great sound. Does everything I require. Roberts don't seem to have missed a trick with this product. Easy to set up but I would advise doing this via the UNDOK app. It's also easier to choose all your favourite internet radio stations using a laptop or PC. They then will synch with the unit. Very good instruction manual which makes everything very clear.
