With built-in DAB+/DAB/FM radio and handy station presets you can access your favourite stations at the touch of a few buttons. Save up to 10 DAB and 10 FM stations you've discovered, which means you can come back to them whenever you'd like.
Easy Bluetooth streaming
Have a favourite playlist on your phone that you can't stop listening to? It's easy to stream music from your smartphone to your RD70, which can act as a beautifully styled speaker. You can also pause/play and skip songs using the buttons on your radio, so you don't even have to touch your phone.
Style your Revival to your taste by customising the colour of your display. Choose from six display themes including Ruby, Pearl, and Sapphire.
Plus, choose between two analogue clock faces or two digital displays in standby, it's your choice.
Hit the snooze button
With 2 alarms, you can choose to wake up to buzzer, DAB or FM radio. There's also a sleep timer which allows you to choose a customised duration - up to 90 minutes - and the radio will play for that time and turn itself off when the timer has elapsed. Not forgetting the snooze button which lets you catch an extra forty winks.
Take your radio into the great outdoors
With the option of using batteries instead of mains, you can carry your favourite music around with you, both indoors and outdoors.

Really lovely radio with a normal clock display instead of a digital. Not bad for a replica of my old radio, and with much better reception.
I have several Roberts Radios including the outgoing RD60 which looks very similar to this one. There is some ambiguity on the web about whether the RD60 can be firmware upgraded to DAB+ In the end I just went for the RD70 and so glad that I did. It sounds way better than the 60 - which surprised me.(Would still love to know from Roberts if the RD60 can be DAB+ upgraded by the port). You can still tell its a Roberts though just by the tone. I love the intuitive menus and also the easy Bluetooth streaming. I also use it as a tuner so use the Aux out a lot. The leather is far more robust than the RD60 covering which was very fragile. Great job Roberts I wouldn't buy any other brand it is really worth the high(ish) price
Super looking radio. Great sound quality. Expensive but worth it!
I received my RD70 today and it looks and sounds like a quality build. Easy to use - tuning was a breeze. I am already in love with it, I like having a bit of sound in the kitchen in the morning and the style fits in too.
I bought the Black RD70 as a housewarming gift for my daughter and her fiance. Fair to say I wish I'd kept it for myself, as the sound is incredible in their very large kitchen. I have the 93i, but I think the sound on the newer one is even better. It looks great too.
Bought for my partner and he loves it! Great audio
Super little radio receiver. Stylish looks, great audio quality and simple to use.
Great radio. Bought for present. Easy to set up in 15minutes and good range of features. Sound quality and reception good even with ariel not fully extended.
Great radio, good sound, just a shame it uses batteries rather than charging from the mains.
Cracking radio, great sound and look. Really happy with it.
An absolutely lovely radio which was purchased for my wife as a Christmas present. She loves it and is now being pressed by our eldest daughter to hand over her old analogue version but she is keen to own two Roberts revival radios!
Can't leave full review as this is a Christmas gift so don't know sound quality yet. Received this email to leave review but it's a bit premature but have answered as fully as I can for now.
We’ve had two of these radios but sadly the leather peels away after time. The carrying strap is bare. Sounds fine but looks awful.
Bought as a treat for myself. Looks good and easy to set up. Amazing full range sound from something so compact. Would recommend anyone buying a radio to have a listen. The higher price is really worth it.
