Nice radio

Great radio, good sound, just a shame it uses batteries rather than charging from the mains.

DAB Revival Radio

An absolutely lovely radio which was purchased for my wife as a Christmas present. She loves it and is now being pressed by our eldest daughter to hand over her old analogue version but she is keen to own two Roberts revival radios!

Looks great

Can't leave full review as this is a Christmas gift so don't know sound quality yet. Received this email to leave review but it's a bit premature but have answered as fully as I can for now.

Leather case

We’ve had two of these radios but sadly the leather peels away after time. The carrying strap is bare. Sounds fine but looks awful.

Fantastic sound.

Bought as a treat for myself. Looks good and easy to set up. Amazing full range sound from something so compact. Would recommend anyone buying a radio to have a listen. The higher price is really worth it.

Amazing quality, as usual from Roberts Radio. The sound quality is superb as is the retro finish.

Wish I'd bought this first

After returning the istream 3 and giving it a 1 star rating due to wifi problems, I purchased a black Revival RD70 from John Lewis for a reasonable price. It has all the features I require, and with the bluetooth I can use my tablet to stream internet radio more reliably in my experience, than with the istream 3. Sound is superb, shame it doesn't have the inbuilt charger option like the istream 3.

Love it!

Excellent sound quality, cannot be faulted. Easy connectivity to Bluetooth. Well designed, user friendly. We use it daily in the kitchen, very pleased with our purchase.

How have I lived SO long without this radio? If it’s good enough for Betty Britain and her son Chas Cornwall... It’s good enough for me... {By Royal Appointment of course!} Bottom line... EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY ALL ‘ROUND!

The Rolls-Royce of radios

Great tone and so easy to set up. Bluetooth works brilliantly with an iPhone. Brilliant design and looks great. What more could you want?

Great sound quality

Great sound quality, I was reluctant to spend this amount of money but im glad I did as the speaker sound quality is well worth the financial outlay. Our old radio, a Roberts , 13 years old, was poor by comparison. We don't leave electrical items on standby, but switch off at the wall socket overnight. Even with no batteries installed when you power up the next morning there is no having to wait for the radio to scan all the stations again, they seem to be stored, great design.
