Birthday Gift

An extremely attractive radio - bought as a gift for my mum - who was particularly delighted that it will take batteries!

It's fine.

It's fine. Sound quality is okay. Easy to use. Premium quality radio's cost way more than this.

Classic Blutone not a classic at all.

This is a good looking DAB radio but the sound quality is very disappointing unfortunately. The controls are easy to use but there is no tone control and the sound quality is poor compared to cheaper models from other brands. Its ok as a back up, but I wouldn't buy another. Why put such a poor a speaker in a quality brand radio?

Classic soft tone of a Roberts

I was brought up with Roberts radio and remember it on the table from a very young age. Bought this radio for my bedside table and using portably in my camper. Lovely soft tones and easy to use. Bluetooth was essential for me...this works just fine. Nice looking thing. Wood coloured in a warm tint. It's mono but sound perfectly acceptable. Size just right and I like the soft carry handle.

Not as good as expected.

Box it arrived in was a bit battered. The "wood" casing of the radio has bits of wood dye missing. It looks a bit shabby. In fact I thought it was one that had been returned and sold on to me but no prood so can't really return it. No receipt in the box. The sound quality is ok but not as good as Panasonic I have. Not worth the cost...even at reduced price. Royal endorsement means nothing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Early days but looks absolutely gorgeous and sounds great. I love the smoothness of the volume and tuning dials
