Fantastic service from Roberts Radio's, ordered on the Tuesday arrived in South Wales Wednesday lunchtime, well packed solid radio, easy to tune, very good, clear instruction/guide. The sound is amazing considering the size, already my son coveting the radio for his own use! Really pleased and so glad I took advantage of the Roberts offer.
I was bought this radio less than 2 years ago and it seems to have finally died. It started off OK but it was always frustrating that it did not have a rechargeable battery feature. This I realised before buying but didn't realise how I actually wanted it portable so had to keep recharging separate batteries. The on/off button soon started to to feel iffy and now just doesn't work. Some digital radio channels it just would not recognise. The sound is OK but for the size could definitely be better.
I brought a Roberts radio after a friend said it was one of the best makes. It was a treat for my sister during lockdown. She loves it and has listened to Gardeners Question Time whilst gardening, for the first time. Apparently, the Queen has a Roberts radio.
Lovely sharp sound. Easy to tune to DAB stations. Big improvement on earlier DAB radios (not Roberts, I should add!)
This is only my second Roberts radio in 10 years, my previous one having given up a couple of weeks ago. So far I think its looking to be a really good DAB/FM radio plus I can listen to my own music via Bluetooth, it looks good, is compact in size, has a clear LCD display and the sound is good to. I'm very pleased with it. Delivery was very fast receiving it within 24 hours.
Wanted one of these for a while . Finally treated myself to one . So happy with sound , look and quality .... perfect,
Lovely radio, bought this for my granny for her birthday and she loves it!
I love this radio nice and solid and nice burgundy colour it is the cousin of my rambler I like it's soild design easy to set up and use good volume and it is not flimsy in construction I have not tried it on batteries yet I would recommend this to anyone
I love my new Roberts DAB Classic Blutune Radio. It has three main capabilities, DAB, FM and Bluetooth. Each of these are performed effortlessly, the controls are easy to use and the sound quality is fantastic. I was a little concerned at first with the streaming from Amazon Music Player sounding a little tinny on some songs, however I do believe that the radio has "learnt" an optimal equalisation pattern for Amazon Music songs now and I cannot find any problem with it. Soundcloud and Bandcamp streaming are certainly great quality. There are 20 presets available for each of DAB and FM so you will have plenty of options for radio listening. Nice dimmer switch and track ID display too. Well done Roberts for making a Radio that finally meets my specifications!
I have just taken delivery of this radio. It looks and feels superb. The DAB and FM radio stations are easy to tune and the sound quality for radio is amazing. However the Bluetooth function, although easy to link up, has poor sound quality, nowhere near as good as the radio. This is a little disappointing seeing as I spent the extra on this model primarily to have Bluetooth music availability.
