Disappointed!

We purchased the Robert's Ortus Time because we loved the design but had to return it as the minute and hour hands were not luminous. What is the point of having the minute segments illuminated if we can't see where the hands are? We were disappointed to have to return it. A bad design fault!

Really want to love this but can't...

Such such a shame, i really want to love this clock radio but after a couple of days use, alas it will be returned. I bought it because I like old style clocks and a proper clock face, this had the added bonus and functionality of DAB Radio. However what I can't get my head round is why you would have a lovely clear clock face, whose hour markers illuminate at night but then omit to illuminate the hour and minute hands??, ultimately rendering the clock face useless for at least half of the day. I wear glasses and thought this would be perfect for me to read the time in the middle of the night (if a little blurily) but instead i have to try and read the digital time display which is quite small and isn't what I wanted at all. Bizarre.. and a little bit gutted.
