I'm very pleased with this radio. It Has excellent sound quality and looks good in my kitchen. The instruction booklet is easy to understand and therefore the radio was easily set up. I would certainly recommend it.
Excellent radio, easy to set up and use. 1 st class
I saw the Roberts Eco 4, it looked like a radio, it had twin speakers, it had a bass and treble, it was Bluetooth** and the other point "It sounded excellent" so I bought it. Some reviews say there is a problem with the On/Off switch, so far (3 wks) early days yet, mine is fine but time will tell. ** The only criticism I have is with the audio level of the Bluetooth:- Its very low and you have to increase the volume quite a lot, even with the phone/iPad volume on full but not a show stopper.
Easy to set up, Quality rich sound, well worth the money.
First thoughts it looked ,sounded and was very good
Was amazed at the sound quality which is better than than a booster speaker set pushing 10 watts per channel, I connected my iPad and an android phone to Bluetooth and it connected in under 10 seconds to play my music through the radios speakers, the build quality is superb , expensive yes but it's a set that's worth every penny and you don't buy radios often so pays for its self over the years.
Bought this to replace old radio, great reception and sound as it has treble and bass controls. Haven't tried Bluetooth yet but I will as all my music is on my laptop. Its a very high quality radio that I would recommend to anyone and is very easy to use.
Looking for a good radio for my elderly parent (who's hard of hearing, and with poor eyesight) this radio appears to have it all. Both Battery powered (6 D-cells) and Mains powered (which wasn't mentioned in the info!) this radio does it all - DAB, DAB+ and FM. Audio quality is excellent, featuring Bass and Treble controls. It's easy to tune, with good reception "just so long as you are within a good service area". Otherwise it struggles - with unpleasant audio artifacts on a poor DAB signal.
Love this Radio as it's easy to use. I use it with battery's so I can take it outside and the sound is good. I also recommend this radio as it has Bluetooth and you can stream your music to it. The Radio is very well made with nice features. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Bought to use in the garden on battery and proving a beautiful buy. Lovely sound quality
I think this is a good radio. The sound is very clear & I use Bluetooth when I listen to stations on the internet. I am very happy with this purchase.
The scrolling display is large and easy to read. The Bluetooth worked first time, no bother. The Aux-In socket allows you to connect devices that are not Bluetooth (a MP3 player, for example). You can buy an Aux-In/Stereo cable for about £2 to connect the radio to a non-Bluetooth MP3 player or phone. It has a headphones socket too. Setting up the radio for DAB and FM is automatic. The sound quality is very good. It really is the best radio I've ever bought.
Early Birthday present for my fiancé .... He loved it If we weren't such Tech-phobes (it's our age) we would probably have given the set-up a 5! We set it up late one evening whilst in the kitchen.... Sounded so good we ended up dancing around the room!
Roberts radio always had a good name that's why I bought it .its the best radio sound I have ever heard and that's the main thing . all I did was plug it in and press 1 button and that was it loads of channels .brilliant !!!
