REally pleased with this speaker

Very pleased , looks great, sound excellent, my only criticism is that it was not clear in the literature that if you wished to use as a slave bluetooth speaker linked to a Roberts 94i then you needed to purchase a Bluetooth transmitter for the 94i.

Dissapointed

Have the R100 with battery pack since November 2018. Since the very beginning i had issues with starting the device, where at irregular intervals I had to completly diconnect it before it would power up again. After 14 months it completly died. Still checking with support whether they can fix it. Besides that, great sound, love the Spotify connection.

Roberts R Line

My fourth R-Line device (2 R100 and 2 R1s) which probably says it all. Great sound and easy enough to control via Undok but the best bit is the stereo pairing which is great. The R1 is effectively an R100 but controlled through your Phone / Tablet - which is generally easier. And for the price unbeatable especially with Spotify and Internet Radio, as DAB where I am is not great. Shame they seem to be being discontinued. Might have to grab another bargain while I still can.

Quality radio which is very easy to use.

Bought this as a bundle deal which was an absolute bargain. It's really easy to set up and navigate and has no issues connecting to my wifi and NAS drive. The build quality is very good with a nice solid feel. Sound quality is good and very good with vocals, it has a nice mellow tone which gives a relaxed vibe. At the price I paid it is superb, really pleased

Good stand alone speaker

Nice addition to a room for playing music, especially when using the battery.

A bit of a fiddly experience

It's a bit too complicated and isn't independent enough like the Bose equivalents.

Great along side the S300

have added to the S300 to get additional sound around the house- yet to try the garden

Great idea, works well.

Excellent quality product which works seamlessly with our R100. Great quality sound and fitted with battery pack (as is R100) easily transportable into the garden, and impervious to power cuts.

Poor connectivity let’s the unit down

Reasonable sound and looks stylish. However, somewhere between the software and the network connectivity there is a major disconnect - when it crashes it takes 10 to 15 minutes to get it to recognise the unit again and start controlling the unit. It is a very frustrating product when it does not work.

Everything you need

Everthing you need. Although there is no DAB the app has so many options you wont miss it. Again great sound especially for the price. Has an equaliser and the option to link to other speakers which is useful. Only reason its a 4 is because it can be tricky to set up. This isn't the fault of hardware but the fault of the app. Although it is mostly fine sometimes the app does crash and requires restating.
