Too quiet

I bought this some time ago. I can only hear with the radio volume really high and with it placed directly under my ear. I have started to get ear ache. Not sure if this could be related to the high volume. Sad as it is neat and I loved it!

Pillow talk

I could not do without a pillow talk. I think my last one lasted about 6 years before the connection to the speaker failed. Same problem experienced by my other half, also after about 5 years.

Too quiet

So quiet you cannot hear it under a pillow. Will be asking for a refund.

Pillow speaker.

Good looking small speaker. Long lead, so reaches easily to bedside radio. Very quiet, needs radio to be on full power to hear it, have tried it on different radios but all same. Now used on the top of the pillow. Works well used in this way.

Fit fo purpose - Yes!!!

Excellent product. Can now listen to the radio late without disturbing anyone else. Volume can be set so it is ideal.

Duped by the Brand.

It’s simply too quiet. No need to go further than that other than to say that the product descriptions of this on line, on amazon etc didn’t mention the switch on the side. The switch on the side allows you to alternate the sound between A - too quiet, B - same, exactly the same as A - too quiet, and C - OFF no sound at all. I wonder, did younger ears produce this? I’m 54 and it’s just an annoying sound, no comprehension of what is being broadcast on the radio. It’s going back.

Pillow Talk speaker

I love pillow talk speakers- they really work. Sadly they don't last forever: the connection at the speaker seems to break after a few years. In the past I have bought them from John Lewis but they no longer stock them. I am glad I am able to buy direct from Roberts.
