What a quality built product ? Worth every penny and built last, you cannot say about most products today...

Fabulous!

My wife bought me a revival radio for Christmas many years ago, and it has been been my constant companion ever since. However, my dream was to have a radio that would allow me to listen to my favourite internet radio stations, or my music on Spotify, with the same ease as turning on my trusty Roberts. For me the iStream 3 absolutely delivers on all the features I wanted from it. Super easy to set up thanks to the very good manual. Then there's the familiar, warm, quality sound that is the hallmark of a Roberts Radio. Well done, all the team at Roberts. This is the radio I always wanted and you've absolutely nailed it.

Beautiful device with great sound and features

This is a great all rounder - great sound, feature packed and a beautiful device. The customer service is also very good and responsive. What clinched it for me is the integration of Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Prime Music and TIDAL. This negates the need to be tied to your phone when using your preferred streaming service. The interface is intuitive and the Undock app, although basic, does the job. Plus the wife loves the design :-)

My new favourite gadget!

I bought the iStream 3 a week ago and love it! The sound is excellent - warm and precise - and the innovative built in charger makes it fully portable. You can spend many an idle minute (or hour!) searching through the almost limitless internet stations, but the real icing on the cake for me is this radio's compatibility with Amazon Music Unlimited. I'm not sure that I ever need to buy another CD (although I know that I still will!) because I can now stream pretty much anything onto my favourite Roberts radio. In short, I'm delighted with this purchase.

My Roberts

It all started when a friend loaned me an old Roberts Radio saying "you need this for your house" After two weeks I was hooked and ordered my own, direct from the Roberts website, a bright shiny new Revival istream 3 in midnight blue, was delivered to my door in double quick time. The capabilities of which are amazing and too many to list, check it out! The friend was right, I did need one.

Little cracker.

I just love this little box. It’s stylish and sounds just like radios should. Takes a while to boot up and because of the multifunctions it takes time to learn to navigate how to use it.

Timeless British Design and Great Engineering

Audio is about the only industry Britain still does well. Never owned a Roberts radio before but very suprised at built quality and finish. Went for the Duck Egg. Controls feel good quality and precise. Really like that you can use alkaline batteries or rechargables and they’re double A’s (x6). Sound is warm and really good at low levels, especially for falling asleep too. The only improvement for me although minor, is for the display to go off after so many minutes. Yes you can put the screen dimmed which is fine but totally off after a timeout would improve screen life and good for total darkness. Everything feels like alot of thought has gone into the design. Worth every penny.

Great Sound Quality and Impressed with Features

Great Sound Quality and Impressed with Features I had an issue with a line down the screen on mine after an hour of use. Roberts customer service arranged collection and replacement within 2 days. Very happy with the service and the replacement is working perfectly. Features I love: Sound quality is great for its size. Supports and charges standard rechargeable batteries. I much prefer this to a built-in rechargeable battery as they are easy to replace if they stop holding their charge. Nice and portable when on batteries. We just unplug it and use all over the house. It supports 5GHz WiFi and allows you to set up a static IP address which is unusual for this kind of device. Most of all, it looks good anywhere in our house. Things which could be improved: The app is OK, but the features are limited. The battery level on the app would be useful. I’d also like support for other home automation like Samsung Smartthings or Logitech Harmony. I do wish it was a little cheaper but happy to pay a bit more for good design.

Classic design and fantastic sound!

I've always wanted a classic Revival and I've just received this as a birthday present. It looks amazing and the quality of finish is first class. The sound has blown me away too - I wasn't expecting it to be this good but it is outstanding. Really easy to set up and Bluetooth connects easily too. I cant recommend this radio highly enough!!

Great Potential but Screen Fault Out of the Box

Good points: The radio looks great Very easy to set up. We had it hooked up to our WiFi and Spotify via a phone within 10 min. The UNDOK app found the radio immediately and controlled the radio well. The sound quality is great as well. The very bad bits: The screen issue which plagued the iStream 2 seems to be present in the 3 as well despite the screen being different. Mine worked for 2 hours and then a vertical line appeared in the screen. I've tried a factory reset and unplugged from the mains for 10 min but no luck. It may be a coincidence and I just got a faulty unit. Currently waiting for John Lewis to replace mine. I'm also unable to get my rechargeable batteries to charge and run the radio. I've set the switch correctly but just do not get the charging light and when I unplug the mains it just dies. I'll update this review if the new unit lasts a bit longer!

UNDOK app currently does not work with Radio

Lovely product, but no remote means you are reliant on UNDOK app which currently won’t allow you to select different radio stations. Rating would be higher if this worked- hopefully there will be an update.
