Low capacity battery

Radio is great. The battery pack is disappointing as it hasn't much capacity. I imagine it has 2 sticks of 3 18650 cells but these have been available for a while with 3000+ mAh

Great, but pity about long screw!

I bought this recently for my 93i, am generally pleased with it. Minor niggle, the long screw supplied for the top fitting is the wrong length therefore doesn't hold the battery flush to the radio body, surely this could have been foreseen? Have asked for replacement screw, otherwise will try to shorten one supplied, not ideal! 5 stars but for this!

Subtle strength

Fits unobtrusively on the back of the radio, without disturbing the symmetry of the design of the Radio

I shouldn’t require this!

When I bought the radio I missed the fact that there were no internal batteries. This is a big miss on a good portable radio that comes with a carry handle. I had previously used a similar Roberts Internet/DAB radio that had a compartment for batteries and it was grand. This accessory is bulky and expensive, adding 25% to the cost of an already expensive item. The first few charges only powered the radio for a few hours, but hopefully this will improve. Roberts - you can do better!

I have one of these for 94i radio. The radio is awesome, I have nothing but praise for it. I love it. This battery pack on the other hand is awful. Firstly it messes up the otherwise amazing sound quality of the little 94i. Secondly it doesn't last anything like as long as claimed. Maybe I was just unlucky with mine but it barely lasts a couple of hours playing time on DAB. Thirdly the UNDOK app won't work when operating off the battery pack which is irritating as the app is rather nice. Finally in spite of the short playing time recharging takes forever and it creates so much electrical interference when charging none of my favourite stations can be received on DAB. In summary I would have to say sorry guys, awesome radio, rubbish battery pack.

Stream Battery

Disappointing. The specification says the battery will power the Stream 94i for between 6 to 10 hours. What it doesn't say is that it will go completely flat in a little over 24 hours with the radio in standby ie not in use.

Not yet used, cannot comment but it does look like a lot of hassle to put it together. Cumbersome

The Battery That Allows You To Go Anywhere Anytime

A really good battery that can be removed for easy plug-in use.

94i battery pack review

Very pleased with the battery pack. It has made the 94i radio very versatile.

Great idea - perfect for our narrowboat

I bit weird to fit, but excellent idea - and the battery lasts for many hours and charges quickly. Once fitted you don't even notice it is there.

Can be purchased cheaper at John Lewis. Takes ages to charge. Would have been better if incorporated in radio, thus making it more affordable.

A must-have addition

This is a must have accessory if you want to wander with your radio - from bedroom, to bathroom, to kitchen to garden... you don't need to turn it off and plug it in again in the next place ... the battery allows you to go where you want whether there is a socket or not.
